There is an unhealthy fixation with sharpness in photographs today. Mostly because it is quite easy to make sharp images with digital tools. And people like it. Hyper-reality is the ascendant aesthetic of our time. Consider this gallery resistance to this hegemony.
I used the stabilization feature of the Olympus Em5 mkII to achieve this effect while hand-holding the camera. There are many things in our current crop of cameras that I think are inferior to the old analog machines, but there are also many improvements. Some of them open up new pathways and possibilities. This gallery in one such exploration.
